ABOUT ARTLAND

 

       Art Land Child Art Centre is a place for the budding artists to treasure out their hidden talents  and  creativity  and  help them  to spread  out their petals of perfection in fine arts. Art land  was  started in the year 1995, with  the grace of many well known artists,  trained art teachers, scholars  and  the then art students. From the day of its dawn, our intent was to  promote  art, nurturing creativity  in children and developing sensitivity towards colours and forms. As days rolled, we found a new dimension of art within the children themselves, which  not only helped  us to  make them as good artists but also to render many social messages through art, thereby  creating awareness among the public.                                .  

        Art land promoted and extended its free hand for the students to develop all types of art, from pastels  to hybrid art. We frequently exhibit the talents of the students to the public, by conducting Art exhibition every year of the best works at all levels. 

       We  encourage the students to participate in various State level and National level competitions,  which  accomplished them  to  bag  many  awards  in  state   and  national levels.

 

●        11 students of our Artland  have represented the state at the National Level  Painting Competition consecutively from 2005 and also have won many   Cash prizes in National Level.

 

●        Our Artland  Student participated in the National Level Camel Colour Contest and secured the third prize.

 

●        ArtLand is proud to mention that   9  of our Art Students are receiving  CCRT Scholarship instituted by Govt. of India who excel in the field of  Visual Arts.

 

The  social  problems  were  depicted  through  the  art  of our  students to  create social awareness among public. Water conservation, The ill effects  of smoking and Blood donation were  few among  them. Mass art program was conducted for Guinness World Record attempt.  Apart from the usual form of art, we use waste materials too for making art (SalvageGarden).                                                   

       Every year, Artland encourage the achievers in the field of Art and Literature by conferring them  a special  title and by awarding them. So far we have  awarded 33 Eminent personalities and 22 budding artists for their contributions towards the art and  Literature. 

       Our teams tower of strength were applauded by our esteemed supporters,well wishers,eminent artists of Puducherry , parents and  alumni of Artland.

        We are so proud to inform that Artland has successfully completed it’s 25 years of journey in enlightening  art.  We  thought  it fit, to convey our heartfelt  thanks  to supporters and well wishers  for the most wonderful  times we had.  We are overwhelmed by a sense of fulfillment, happiness and gratitude. Twenty five years have flown by and it has been a truly rewarding journey for us. Yes, it’s time to celebrate this wonderful journey.  Artland is what it is because of you, so we aspire you all to kindly support and participate in this Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
